Connect Slack to Facila and it reads the conversations you add it to, surfaces what matters, and drafts replies you approve. Read-only by default — nothing is posted without your ok.

1. Add the Slack channel in Facila
In the Facila app, open Channels and choose Slack. You will be sent to Slack to sign in and authorize the connection for the workspace you pick.
2. Approve the permissions
Slack shows you exactly what Facila can access before you agree. Facila only reads the conversations you add it to and only acts when you approve — it never posts on its own.
3. Add Facila where you want help
Add Facila to the channels or DMs you want it to watch. It starts in read-only mode: it reads what arrives, surfaces what matters, and drafts replies for your approval.
Troubleshooting & common questions
Facila isn't seeing my Slack messages
Make sure Facila has been added to the specific channel or conversation — it only reads where you invite it. In the app, open the Slack channel settings and confirm it shows Connected. If it was just connected, give it a minute to sync. Still empty? Disconnect and reconnect Slack from its settings to refresh the authorization.
Can Facila post in Slack without me?
No. Facila drafts replies and proposes actions; nothing is sent to Slack until you approve it. If you turn on auto-send, that is an explicit choice you can switch off at any time.
How do I disconnect or remove Facila from Slack?
Open the Slack channel in the Facila app and choose Remove — this revokes access and deletes the Slack content Facila had synced. You can also remove the Facila app from your Slack workspace under Settings & administration → Manage apps in Slack. Doing either stops all access.
What data does Facila read from Slack?
Only the messages in the channels and conversations you add Facila to, so it can surface what matters and draft replies. Facila never uses your Slack messages to train AI models, and processes them only to provide the service you asked for.
The connection expired or I get an authorization error
Slack sessions can expire or be revoked by a workspace admin. Reconnect Slack from the channel settings in the Facila app to re-authorize. If it keeps failing, email us with your workspace name and a rough time and we will investigate.
