Beta Terms

The deal, in plain words.

Here’s what testing Facila early means, written to actually be read. The full legal version is right at the bottom if you want every clause.

Beta Terms v1 · Last updated June 15, 2026

01

What you’re joining

Facila is in an early, invite-only beta. You’re getting a pre-release version we’re still building — it’s here for testing and your feedback, not as a finished product.

02

Expect rough edges

Things will break, change, or move around. Features may come and go, and we might pause or end the beta. That’s beta life — and your feedback is how we smooth it out.

03

It’s AI, so it can be wrong

Facila uses AI and is still learning. It’ll sometimes misread something or get it wrong, so double-check anything that matters before you act on it. Telling us when it slips is exactly how we make it better.

04

You bring your own OpenAI key — for now

During the beta you connect your own OpenAI API key so every feature works, and you’re responsible for that key and whatever OpenAI charges for its use. After the beta this becomes optional — Facila will have all-inclusive plans.

05

Your data stays yours

We never use your data to train AI, and we never sell or share it. Only you can access your content. You approve every action, and you can delete everything or leave the beta whenever you want.

06

No guarantees

The beta is provided as-is. We can’t promise it’ll always be available or correct, and we’re not liable for losses from using it. Don’t rely on it for anything critical, and keep your own copies of important things.

07

Your feedback helps

If you share ideas, bug reports, or suggestions, we can use them to improve Facila with no strings attached. Please don’t send us other people’s confidential information.

08

Saying yes

Joining the beta means you’ve read and accepted these terms. We note which version you accepted and when. Questions any time: help@facila.ai.

How we handle data lives in our Privacy Policy. Questions about the beta? help@facila.ai.

These Beta Program Terms (the “Terms”) govern your participation in the private beta of the Facila application and related services (the “Beta” and the “Service”), operated by Facila (“Facila”, “we”, “us”). By joining the Beta, you (“you”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not join.

1. Definitions

“Beta” means the pre-release, invite-only version of the Service made available for testing and evaluation. “Content” means the data, messages, and materials you connect to or process through the Service. “Feedback” means any suggestion, idea, bug report, or comment you provide about the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. The Beta is offered by invitation and we may accept, decline, or revoke access at our discretion.

3. Nature of the Beta; changes

The Beta is pre-release software provided for evaluation. It may contain defects, change without notice, and be incomplete or unstable. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, or the Beta as a whole, at any time and without liability.

4. Licence to use the Beta

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Beta for evaluation and feedback during the Beta period. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or use the Beta to build a competing product, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

5. Your OpenAI key and third-party services

During the Beta, certain features require you to connect your own OpenAI API key. You are responsible for obtaining and securing that key and for all usage, fees, and compliance with OpenAI’s applicable terms arising from its use with the Service. Your relationship with OpenAI and any other third-party provider is solely between you and that provider. After the Beta, providing your own key will become optional under Facila’s standard plans.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Beta unlawfully, to infringe others’ rights, to upload content you have no right to process, or to interfere with the security or operation of the Service. You are responsible for your account and the activity under it.

7. Feedback

You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use Feedback to operate and improve our products, without obligation or compensation to you. Please do not include third parties’ confidential information in Feedback.

8. Privacy and data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD). We do not use your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell or share your Content. Only you can access your Content. You may exercise your data rights, including deletion, and may leave the Beta at any time.

9. Confidentiality

Non-public aspects of the Beta are confidential. Please do not publicly disclose Beta features, performance, or materials without our prior consent, until they are publicly released.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Beta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facila will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to the Beta. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Term and termination

These Terms apply for the duration of your participation in the Beta. You may stop and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end your access, or the Beta, at any time. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms during the Beta. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and any dispute will be subject to the competent Brazilian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you.

15. Contact and acceptance

Questions about these Terms: help@facila.ai. By joining the Beta you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms; we record the version and date of your acceptance.
